The TE-500 is a fully standalone K-Line handheld terminal designed for technicians working in the field. No computer required; simply connect the device to the tachograph, select from the menu, and complete the operation.
What Does the TE-500 Do?
- Parameter read / write
- K & W factor setting
- Speed and odometer tests
- Time & date setting
- Editing critical values such as VIN, tire circumference, service date
- Reading / clearing fault codes (DTC)
- Sensor pairing
⚡ Connection and Operation
The TE-500 communicates exclusively via K-Line (10,400 bps) and operates fully standalone. No PC, CAN or external UDS interface is required.

When a parameter is changed, the device first writes it, then automatically re-reads it and confirms the new value on screen.
